Stockton Lake Information
The town of Stockton is situated at the
northern end of beautiful Lake Stockton, which was formed in 1969 when the dam
east of Stockton
was closed. The lake's normal pool elevation is 867 feet above sea
level. It is operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers with 25,000
surface acres of water and 33,000 acres of public land.
